Sit In This For 20 Minutes For Dramatic Healing

A few months ago we got an interesting new medical device in our office.

This medical device is one of the most interesting healing machines you’ll ever see. Not only does it look weird, it’s powerful enough to help with some of the most debilitating and painful conditions known to man.

Our patients swear by it - claiming that just a few sessions with the device has reversed their suffering entirely.

The device I’m referencing is an infrared sauna

If you’re a patient here and have been in the office in the past 6 months chances are you’ve seen or heard about our infrared sauna.

If you’re not a patient, or you just want a little bit more information on this fascinating device, then I’m going to dive into what makes infrared saunas great for improving your health.

This Is Not A Regular Sauna

When most of you think of saunas I’d imagine one of two things comes to mind.

The first is, you think of sweaty old men in towels hanging around each other in a dark room.

Just me? Maybe I’ve watched a little too much Seinfeld in my life.

If that’s not what you think of, the other image popping up in your mind is a dark, wooden room with enough heat to roast a pig in under 20 minutes.

An infrared sauna is nothing like an ordinary sauna.

First, they’re much smaller. The smallest ones (like you see below) are the size of a small closet.

And the technology behind their smallish size is also what makes them much different than an ordinary sauna.

Traditional saunas, the kind you’re used to seeing at a day spa or a gym, work when a heating device placed underneath, or on the side, of the sauna radiate thermal heat directly into the sauna quarters.

This type of heat, measured in degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius, is what causes you to sweat and induces your body to release stored up toxins. That same thermal heat can relax the muscles, increase blood flow etc.

An infrared sauna helps produce these same benefits, but it does it without producing any heat whatsoever.

At least, not in the way you’re used to

Infrared saunas actually generate infrared light, and that light stays trapped inside of the sauna and cascades all over your body. As it does this your body will begin to heat up, just as it would in a normal sauna.

Interestingly, it’s not ordinary thermal heat that’s making you feel warm.

When an infrared sauna is on, the temperature inside the sauna is the exact same inside as outside.

This is because infrared light causes you to heat up from the inside out. All thanks to infrared receptors located inside of your body.

The technology behind infrared saunas is fascinating. But, I don’t want this email to get bogged down in the technical details of infrared saunas.

I’d rather show you what these saunas are good for.

That being the case, if you want to learn the science behind how infrared saunas work you can click here or on the image below to see Dr. Mercola describe their function. (after watching this, don't be concerned our infrared sauna is a very low EMF sauna as described here)

Here’s Everything An Infrared Sauna May Help Heal

The first thing I want you to know is infrared saunas are a newer technology. Studies on their efficacy are still coming out.

That being the case, what I’ve seen our infrared sauna do for patients in my practice; and what other physicians who employ infrared saunas for healing have said, is nothing short of miraculous.

I’m talking serious pain relief.

Ultra detoxification.

Noticeable improvements in insulin sensitivity.

Improved cardiovascular function.

And a lot more.

Let me show you what’s going on here:

1 - Infrared Saunas and Heart Health: One of the reasons I advise the use of infrared saunas is there’s research indicating their usefulness in improving cardiovascular function.

While research is limited, the few studies available indicate positive associations.

For instance, in a review conducted by the Department of Family Practice at the University of British Columbia, researchers noted that blood pressure and cholesterol levels were both improved when given infrared sauna treatment.

And a study published in the Journal of The Japanese Circulation Society confirms those findings.

In their study (which you can look at here) subjects exposed to a 140 degree Fahrenheit sauna had improved cardiovascular function. This included stabilization of the heart’s rhythm, which leads to improved heart health.

2 - Infrared Saunas and Lower Pain: One of the chief reasons people use saunas (both infrared and conventional models) is to help reduce localized inflammation for pain relief.

Infrared saunas are especially helpful in reducing pain since the infrared wavelengths penetrate your skin and go deep into tissue.

Dr. Josh Axe wrote about infrared saunas and how they help reduce pain.

Researchers from Saxion University of Applied Science in the Netherlands found that infrared sauna treatments can help reverse pain with little to no side effects.

They studied the effects of infrared saunas in patients with [ certain kinds of pain conditions] over a four-week period, with a series of eight IR treatments.

Sauna therapy was well-tolerated with no adverse effects, and they found that a significant percentage of patients experienced decreased symptoms of pain and stiffness.

Fatigue also decreased in both groups of patients compared to before beginning treatment, leading the researchers to conclude that infrared treatment has statistically significant short-term beneficial effects in patients experiencing pain without causing any worsening disease symptoms or unwanted side effects.”

3 - May Help Improve Blood Sugar: I see a lot of people struggle with blood sugar issues.

And I think the complementary use of infrared saunas is a way to help speed up the healing process in pancreatic function for normalizing blood sugar levels.

Back in 2010, the Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicineconducted a study on subjects who had known blood sugar issues.

Their research showed that when these subjects used infrared saunas it led to an increase in insulin levels, as well as helping to reduce the pain associated with their condition; while simultaneously improving their energy levels, mood, and heart health.

All it took for the patients to generate these improvements were 20-minute sessions 3x weekly for 3 months.

The way it works is quite fascinating.

Because the infrared saunas calmed a person down and decreased stress, it helped improve hormone function, which in turn helped modulate insulin levels in a positive way. The improved insulin function ultimately led to improved blood sugar levels.

4 - Enhanced Detoxification: It’s important to focus on detoxification in this day and age. Every day you and I are exposed to a mountain of environmental and chemical toxins. And these toxins build up in our bodies, which can ultimately lead to some serious health problems down the road.

Infraredsauna.com says this about their detoxification properties:

Daily sauna sweating can help detoxify your body as it rids itself of accumulated highly toxic metals (lead, mercury, nickel, and cadmium) as well as alcohol, nicotine, sulfuric acid, and other organic and inorganic compounds.

“It has been known for decades that sweating is a wonderful way to get rid of stored chemicals, including heavy metals. In fact, sauna is one of the detoxification procedures used in the Environmental Units in Dallas (Dr. William Rea) and North Charleston (Dr. Allan Lieberman) where the sickest of folks go to heal.” Dr. Sherry Rogers, Total Wellness, May 2000.

Here’s How To Get the Most Out Of Infrared Saunas

I believe that everyone should use infrared saunas.

This is why we put one in our office.

However, for some of you, it may be impractical (or impossible) to head down to our office every time you want to use a sauna.

The good news is they’re available to purchase for home use.

Small enough to fit in any room, these units can be used as often as you’d like.

I understand they’re not cheap, but if you’re interested in purchasing one you can follow this link and look at options you can use at home

If you’d prefer to use ours you can schedule a therapy session at our office instead.

Call 336-768-3335 and you can set up a one-time appt, or buy a multi-use pass.
