Weather Delays in South East

We’ve experienced two significant winter storms in North Carolina over the past two weeks. Since the winter weather began on January 17, unsafe road conditions—including ongoing road ice as of February 2—have made travel difficult to impossible at times. This has resulted in weather-related closures and limited access for our shipping team on certain days, which has unfortunately caused delays in many orders.

Additionally, USPS is experiencing the same weather delays nationwide. Many of our packages are currently held at the Greensboro NC mail sorting facility. While we understand how frustrating this is, the tracking information is accurate and reflects the current status of your shipment. Once weather conditions improve, your package will begin moving again.

For HAIOTB products, almost all of those products are available on Amazon and they do seem to be delivering in most cases, although at a delayed rate.  No one is delivering fast right now. You can find them here: Health As It Ought To Be Amazon Store

If you have an urgent need, we recommend you make the trip into the store in order to be sure to get your products. Patients can shop at the patient store, non-patients can shop at our new public store at 3283 Robinhood Rd beside Fresh Market. Email us here first to find out if we are open.

Shipping Process FAQs

What are the slowest shipping times of the year?

We begin to see deliveries slowing down in early November and it lasts well into January. Plan ahead so you don't run out of your favorite product. It doesn't hurt to always have a backup bottle in your house, reordering again when you open that bottle.

When will my order ship?

Once you place an order, it can take us a minimum of 24 to 48 (business) hours to package your order.

We are processing significantly more orders now and it is taking longer to package your order. Please keep in mind that our shipping department processes all online orders, all patient online orders and all Dispensary mail orders.

ON A WEEKEND OR HOLIDAY: It can take 3-5 business days to package your order. Please order what you need allowing enough time for any delays.

December 21st to 25th

Why is it taking longer than it used to?

We are shipping significantly more orders than we used to. Please keep in mind that our shipping department processes all online orders, all patient online orders and all Dispensary mail orders.

When will I get a shipping confirmation email?

Once we package your order and print your shipping label, you will get an email alerting you that your package has been shipped. That means it is packaged and is waiting for USPS to pick it up. If they have already picked up that day, it will not be picked up until the next day.

How long will it take to receive my order?

After allowing time for us to ship your order, once shipped it will take a minimum of 2 business days. We use USPS Priority 2 Day to ship to you, BUT THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT 2 DAY TIMEFRAME. It's just a general idea. Please monitor your tracking for progress. You will see exactly what we can see. Once USPS has your package there is nothing more we can do to tell you where it is.

What if my order is still in transit but it's taking a long time?

Please continue to wait on your package. As long as tracking shows it is moving and there has been a status update in the last 7 days, there is nothing we can do to assist you. If it's been more than 7 days since there was tracking movement, we can file a missing mail search to help get it moving again.  It's our experience that USPS does not lose packages like experienced with UPS and your package will arrive eventually.

When you call us on the shipping phone number, we are talking to you and we aren't processing orders. If you email us, a different staff member is handling that and our shipping department can keep working on orders. We will answer your email quickly, usually within 2 hours but often immediately. This is not your typical customer service email that never gets answered. You will get excellent service by emailing us or calling us, we just prefer you email us so we can ship your order as quickly as possible.
