Improve Your “Love Life” By Eating These Foods

As an integrative physician I’d be remiss not to share how you can improve one of the most important aspects of your life.

Your “love life.”

The truth is many of my patients could avoid having taking drugs to improve their love life if they were to simply change their diet.

Fortunately, growing all over this planet are foods that can enhance your love life tremendously.

There are foods which increase blood flow just like the blue pill does.

There are other foods which have been shown to increase a woman’s likelihood to conceive.

And foods which improve sex-drive for both genders.

3 Different Aspects Of Love Life Affected By Food

Improving your diet, and changing what you eat can have a dramatic effect on how your body performs.

Just like drinking alcohol can have a severe, negative effect on your body, eating certain foods can have a very positive effect.

What you’re going to see here are three different, yet related, aspects of your love life that can be improved depending on what you eat.

1 - Improved libido by eating these foods:

If you want to increase sexual desire you’ll want to focus on eating foods rich in zinc… as well as eating foods which help moderate stress levels.

Zinc is a powerful nutrient associated with sexual health.

The reason zinc is important for sexual health has to do with how it affects cell metabolism (energy), stamina, and how it regulates the sex hormone testosterone.

As many of you are aware testosterone is vital for male sexual health. However, women need it too.

There have been several studies supporting the claim zinc is related to increased sexual desire.

If you want to get more zinc in your diet you can add some of the following foods to the menu:

  • Seeds like sunflower and pine nuts
  • Shellfish like oysters and lobster or crab
  • Red meat
  • Cage Free eggs
  • Grass-fed dairy
  • Whole grains

2 - Increased blood flow with these foods:

What made the blue pill so popular is how it increases blood flow so men can carry out normal sexual activity.

When blood flow is restricted it becomes very difficult for a man to carry out the physical act of sex.

Fortunately the way the blue pill works, which is by increasing nitric oxide in the blood, can be replicated by changing your diet.

Nitric oxide helps dilate blood vessels, which increases blood flow so a man can perform uninterrupted.

There are quite a few foods that will increase nitric oxide in the blood.

The best is beets.

Prostate.net writes: “Beets though are naturally high in nitrates, which get converted to nitrites by bacteria in your mouth when you eat them. Your stomach converts them to nitric oxide, and this helps to dilate blood vessels and blood flow. Beetroot has the highest level of nitrates among vegetables.”

In addition to beets, foods that’ll increase nitric oxide include radishes, celery, carrots, lettuce, and turnip tops.

3 - Increased heart strength with these foods:

Blood doesn’t make it to where it needs to go with a bum ticker.

That’s true for men and women.

While men need blood flow for a satisfying sex life, women do too.

Which is why eating foods that improve heart function and protect it too are important for your love life.

Fortunately, this is one of the easiest areas of diet to change.

The first step is to remove processed foods, foods with additives and artificial colors, and foods high in sugar.

The second step is to eat foods rich in heart healthy fats and provide nutrients essential for heart health (these include magnesium and potassium).

A short list of some of the best foods for these purposes are:

  • Grass-fed meats
  • Fatty fish
  • Cage Free eggs
  • Avocadoes
  • Berries
  • Bananas
  • Whole grains (no gluten)

Eat these foods and not only could your sex life improve… your entire life might be better than you’d imagine.
