When Women Actually Want Testosterone

When Women Actually Want Testosterone

All this week we’re running a special deal on our supplement called           Estrogen Control.

Estrogen Control is a revolutionary capsule that blends a myriad of nutrients that are responsible for helping to balance estrogen levels so that estrogen dominance does not upset how women feel.

As you may have seen in the previous email, there are a number of conditions that may result from estrogen dominance. They include loss of sexual desire, hair loss, cold hands and feet, among many others.

Today, besides reminding you that you have a coupon to use (DIMIT2), we’re also going to talk a bit about how one of the nutrients in Estrogen Control actually helps women prioritize their testosterone levels.

That may seem counterintuitive, but the truth is, women do need testosterone, and when estrogen dominance is an issue, they need it more than almost anytime in their life.

Let’s talk about why this is the case, and also show you why Estrogen Control is so helpful at aiding women in this important aspect of female health.

Testosterone For Women?

Oftentimes, when we think of testosterone, we tend to think of it as a male only hormone.

And while it is a hormone critical for normal male development, women need it too.

This is especially true when you’re speaking about estrogen dominance.

One of the key ingredients in Estrogen Control is called Diindolylmethane or DIM for short.

While there are many documented benefits of DIM, the reason we put it in Estrogen Control is because it helps to balance estrogen between healthy estrogen metabolites and the more harmful ones.

It also blocks aromatase, which converts testosterone to estrogen.

If you’re concerned about having too much estrogen, DIM will ensure that aromatase doesn’t take free testosterone in your body (even though it may be a minimal amount) and convert it into estrogen.

Now, that doesn’t mean that when you take Estrogen Control you’re encouraging the production of more testosterone. It simply means you’re encouraging testosterone to remain in its natural state and not be converted to estrogen.

Dave Asprey writes this about DIM

“DIM inhibits aromatase, so that more testosterone is freely available in your system to benefit your heart, bones, skin, and brain. Plus, when aromatase isn’t able to convert testosterone into harmful estrogen metabolites, you have fewer symptoms of estrogen dominance like acne and mood swings.”

Hopefully that all makes sense.

Now onto the next subject that we’ve mentioned a few times this week; harmful metabolites. Let’s get into what those are, and what they do to women.

The good estrogen metabolites are: 2-hydroxyestrone and the bad ones are 16-alpha-hydroxyestrone and 4-hydroxyestrone.

While we don’t want to get lost in the weeds, some people believe the proliferations of these estrogen metabolites 16-alpha-hydroxyestrone, 4-hydroxyestrone could lead to serious health concerns down the road.

And the school of thought surrounding DIM supplementation is that by keeping the metabolites balanced it could stave off future problems.

But we will let you know that DIM has been shown to be effective at influencing the ratio of good to bad in the positive direction.
