Some Sad News For My Readers

I have to share some sad news with my readers, as well as my patients.

There's a major problem with multivitamins you've probably never heard about and I think you deserve to know about it.

But before I say what it is, can I tell you something personal?

...No, this has nothing to do with my favorite pop song from the 90's... I just want to give you a snapshot of what determines my medical decisions.

Like most physicians, I remember going into medical school bright-eyed and bushy-tailed ready to take on the world. I was so excited to become a doctor. I had known I wanted to be a doctor for most of my life, and was thrilled I had the chance to positively affect people's health.

Medical school didn't necessarily shake my confidence in how medicine could help heal the sick. But, after a few years, I began to understand my hopes and dreams of changing the world were...well...misguided.

It wasn't like medical school turned me into a skeptic or anything; however, when I arrived at medical school I was pretty confident the professors were almost always right...just like my parents had been ;)

But the more I began investigating things on my own, the more I realized that wasn't true.

See, my interest in "alternative medicine" showed me there was a world of complementary treatments out there that were, in some cases, superior to what I had learned about in school.

But there was a problem with alternative medicine, too; I couldn't help but notice there were glaring deficiencies in many of its popular practices.

I'm sure you'd agree this is frustrating

"What does this have to do with a major problem most multivitamins have?" you ask.

Well, let me show you.

A Big Problem With Most Multivitamins: They're Not All They're Cracked Up To Be

Practitioners on both sides of the health aisle (a term I just made up since I don't think there's actually an aisle...maybe a stethoscope...) recommend multivitamins enthusiastically.

I'm glad they do, because I think multivitamins are a great bubble gum and duct tape solution to nutrient deficiencies in most Americans.

Doctors who practice conventional medicine usually recommend multivitamins because their patients' diets stink to high-heaven and don't contain the nutrients they need.

Practitioners on the holistic side recommend them because they know that food - even plants and meats - don't have as many nutrients in them as they used to.

Both sides give great reasons to recommend a multivitamin.

However, the big problem with most multivitamins is they're as junky as the diets they're trying to supplement.

Studies conducted all over the world prove most of the major supplement manufacturers are filling their products with garbage

Some of the garbage found in supplements is empty junk, like rice or cellulose.

In more serious cases the manufacturers are loading their multivitamins with ingredients toxic to the body.

Why are they doing it?

It's simple - these companies know there's a HUGE need for supplements, and so they're willing to put your health at risk to make a fast buck.

That's one of the more serious problems with most multivitamins...

But it's not the only one.

The Shocking Reason Even Trusted Multivitamins
Are A Waste Of Money

The practice I work with has had a supplement store in the building for several years now.

I strongly believe almost anyone's health will be improved with a supplement regimen.

And for years we confidently recommended some of the most well-known brand-name multivitamins out there.

But not anymore...and here are the reasons why.

Some of the top supplement companies put ingredients in their multivitamins your body won't absorb efficiently. In other cases, they've included ingredients in their multivitamins that don't work synergistically with the others.

And that's a huge issue when you're paying top-dollar for multivitamins.

To resolve this, I've worked long and hard to create a multivitamin that gets around those issues.

And I did it for way less than what you'd pay for comparable multivitamins.

Introducing The Highly-Absorbable Daily Multivitamin
From Health As It Ought To Be

I want nothing but the best for my patients, as well as for anyone who purchases supplements from Health As It Ought To Be.

That's why my team and I went to the drawing board to make this highly-absorbable daily multivitamin.

Now I'm not going to lie to you and say this single multivitamin is the solution to all your health problems; that'd be unethical at best, and an outright lie at worst.

However, if you want to get a great multivitamin - one that promises to give you vital nutrients which are easy for your body to absorb - this one fits the bill.

Here's a list of the top 5 reasons to take our new multivitamin.

Contains Shilajit: Remember when I mentioned many multivitamins have problems with absorption? Shilajit helps fix that. This mineral complex has been used in ayurvedic medicine for centuries.

"Shilajit is known for its ability to rejuvenate cells by driving oxygen and nutrients into the cell and supporting the body’s natural antioxidant activity, whereby the body rids itself of free radicals."

Contains Vitamin K2-MK7: I've written extensively about MK7, and for good reason (search my blog for articles on this amazing nutrient). This nutrient is hard to find in diet, let alone in other vitamins, and works hand in hand with vitamin D3 and calcium to strengthen bones and lead to better heart health.

It also helps improve immune function, promotes healthy blood sugar, and much more!

Contains Methylfolate and Methyl B12: Most multivitamins contain folic acid and vitamin B12 as cyanocobalamin, and that's fine for some people; however, the problem with these essential vitamins is more than 50% of people's bodies won't convert them into their end-stage useable forms.

By adding methylfolate and methyl B12, more than 50% of Americans can finally get the forms of these vitamins their bodies need to function.

Contains Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA): One of Mother Nature's most potent antioxidants, ALA helps protect cells so they function at maximum capacity.

Here are a few things ALA has been shown to help with:

  -  Eye protection

  -  Neuroprotection

  -  Migraine

  -  Chelation

  -  Weight loss

  -  Exercise improvement

  -  Heart protection

  -  Bone strengthening

  -  Metabolic conditions

And more.

Contains Ginger: As you probably know, ginger's a powerful anti-inflammatory and contains many antioxidant properties.

However, one of the best reasons to include it in a multivitamin is because it helps soothe your stomach. I'm sure you've noticed most multivitamins recommend taking it with water on an empty stomach; well, for a lot of people, this will cause some pretty severe digestive issues.

Ginger reduces these feelings so you can enjoy the health benefits of your multivitamin without the unpleasant stomach issues.
